Ballet Basics

All Ballet Basic classes are for students who are new to ballet or are interested in gaining basic skills. Students are required to take no more than one class per week as a way to develop from Foundation 1 to Basic Ballet 3. Proficiency is required of all class work to advance to a higher level which will be determined through testing and evaluation. Students may stay in any of these levels for several years before advancing to a higher level based on their instructor’s recommendation. Only one recital costume will be required and students will do recital work within their class time.
