Dancewear and Attire

Combination Classes


Tap shoes with ribbon ties and a rubber plate on the sole are needed for classes ages 3 – 10.

Ballet shoes are needed for all ballet classes. The shoes cannot be the “Slipper/sock” type that have a silky top. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes.

Garb Any color leotard and tights. Skirts and tutus are optional. Same shoes required as above. Exception: Ballet slippers will be used for jazzy hip hop.

 

Jazz & Hip-Hop Students


Jazz shoes. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes

Garb Leotards, Tights, Jazz Pants, Yoga Pants, Leggings, fitted Dance Shorts, Fitted Shirts

 

Tap Students


Jazz shoes. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes

Garb Leotards, Tights, Jazz Pants, Yoga Pants, Leggings, fitted Dance Shorts, Fitted Shirts

 

Ballet Students


Jazz shoes. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes

Garb Leotards, Tights, Dance Dresses, Dance Skirts, Fitted Dance Shorts, Form-Fitting Shirts

 

All Classes


STUDENTS CANNOT WEAR Pajama Pants, Loose Fitting Sweat Pants, Loose Fitting or Long Shorts, Baggy Shirts, Any Denim Material – Including Stretchy Jeans, Dresses, Street/School Clothes,Excessive or Distracting Jewelry Hair must be pulled back from face in ALL cases!

 

DANCE SHOES


Ballet: Pink ballet shoes are needed for all ballet classes. The shoes cannot be the “Slipper/sock” type that have a silky top. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes.

Pointe: Classes must also have a pair of ballet slippers

Tap: Tap shoes with ribbon ties and a rubber plate on the sole are needed for classes ages 3 – 10. All other shoes need to be approved before using on the floor! Socks or tights must be worn with the shoes

Jazz: For ages 3 – 5, black ballet shoes (not the “slippery/sock” style) or jazz shoes can be worn. All students ages 6 and over will need the black jazz shoes. Tights or socks must be worn with shoes.

Hip-Hop: Jazz shoes. Tights or socks must be worn with the shoes.
